Today it is raining out. Is it not enough that we have brown leaves, cold concrete? Now soggy shoes & puddles beneath our feet. In New York City, everything is wet. Everything smells like something. Everything is in the news. There is a way of dealing with everything, apparently.
In photographs I take that show the blunt absence of something, such as through use of substantial negative space, I often wonder what belongs there. What in my life did I forget to capture, if anything?
